1.1 What is iTS ?

iTS is a ut2k4 community serverpark. Read more in the "About" section

1.2 Why do you do it? You want my hard-earned ca$h ??!?

No. iTS is 100 % non-commercial. The servers and additional serviecs were rigged simply cause we love this game. The fact that most us did NOT like UT3 was a major part of it too.

1.3 Do you plan on rigging/hosting other games besides UT2K4?

At this point, NO. As mentioned above iTS was pretty much born due to the disappointment we felt when UT3 was released. We wanted to build a playground for those who still consider UT2004 to be THE GAME. We might reconsider if there are drastic changes made to UT3. However, regardless of what happens in the future: Whatever we host will most likely be based on the Unreal Engine.

2.1 Please help me fix XXX on my server. How do I create XXX on my server? How did you manage to add XXX on your server?

As much as we'd love to be cool and help people out, we can't. It takes up a lot of time to keep our own servers & services running. We suggest you try www.unrealadmin.org. Feel free to post on our forums but we can't guarantee you a reply. Please do not spam PMs on the forums or our mailbox with the same enquiries over and over again.

2.2 I would like you to change setting XXX / add mutator XXX

We always welcome all kinds of suggestions and feedback. Feel free to post on our forums, and we will take it into consideration. But keep in mind that public servers are configured according to what the majority of players want.

3.1 How may I contact iTS admins?

We have a script monitoring all servers for the nick ADMIN_NEEDED every minute. Whenever the script detects a player using this nick, an alert is triggered to our admins on IRC, telling them admin assistance is needed on Server XXX. This is the fastest way to reach admins on urgent stuff, i.e. cheaters. However, do not abuse this feature! Meaning don't "cry wolf". Do not call for admins unless you i.e. feel very certain a player is cheating, or unless admin assistance really is needed.

On all other stuff, please post on our forums, or visit our IRC channel.

3.2 I suspect Player XXX is cheating. Player XXX is behaving badly.

Besides changing nick to ADMIN_NEEDED you may always record us a demo, post a describtion on our forums, then email it to iTS.ut2004@gmail.com. When emailing the demo, make sure you have posted on the forum in advance. This way more than one admin is able to review the demo.

To make a demorec use the UT2004 console (hit ~ to get the console):
- start recording with command:
demorec <file>

- and when finished use command:
stopdemo

3.3 I was banned from server XXX. Why?

Post on our forums in the bans section, and someone will get back to you.
Please include in-game nick, server, IP & GUID.

4.1 Can you sponsor my clan?

Yes...no....maybe?

We are always open for teaming up with active clans and players. If there's a win-win situation we might come to an understanding.

4.2 As you don't sell any services, what do you want in return?

Correct, we don't sell any services. But we've spent a large amount of time rigging these servers, and thereby it's naturally fun to see steady activity on them. We ask and expect clans sponsored by services from iTS to support our public server lineup.
That's it.

We are fairly happy with the activitylevel all over, but right now we would like to see more steady activity on our TAM servers. Besides that we need to keep up the activity on the servers which are already busy.
